Watch: 7-Year-Old Is Highest-Paid YouTuber

7-year-old Ryan doesn’t mess around in the game of earning power. Forbes reported on Monday that between June 1, 2017 and June 1, 2018, Ryan of Ryan ToysReview made $22 million, making him the highest-paid YouTuber.

Ryan makes this money by playing with new toys, analyzing them and reviewing them. He apparently has quite a number of preferences.

According to the description box on his YouTube channel,  he loves Trains, Cars, Thomas and friends, Lego, Superheroes, Disney toys, play doh, open surprise eggs, Disney Planes, Pixar Disney cars, minions, monster trucks, family fun adventure, playtime at the fun and so much more.

Serious Influencer

Ryan definitely has influence. He has a whopping 17.3 million followers, and Forbes notes that since his family started his primary channel in March 2015, he has collected over 25 billion views. He posted a video of himself driving his new Lightning McQueen car on Monday and by Tuesday, it was approaching 1 million views.

His revenue topped Jake Paul (No. 2 on the list, with $21.5 million), Dude Perfect ($20 million), DanTDM ($18.5 million) and Jeffree Star ($18 million). Digital Trends reports that many of Ryan’s recent videos have had over a million views. His “Pac-Man In Real Life meets Ryan” video has over 3 million views.

NBC News reports that Ryan also has a toy line which sells at Target and Walmart. There are even suspicions that his profits contributed to the house his family now lives in.

Ryan earned most of his money on YouTube from preroll adds, and according to Forbes, he isn’t at all modest about the reasons he’s so popular: “I’m entertaining, and I’m funny,” he told NBC recently. That is one cool kid.
